US VP Plans Regional Visit to Push for Peace
The US embassy in Tel Aviv announced on Thursday that Vice President Mike Pence would travel to the Middle East in late December at President Donald Trump’s request to push for the century’s peace deal between Israel and the Arabs.
A source at the Israeli Foreign Ministry said that Pence would visit Israel and the Palestinian territories where he plans to discuss with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and then with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas the renewal of the peace process.

غضب وحزن في مصر بعد «حادثة الواحات»
سادت حالة من الغضب والحزن بين جموع المصريين في أعقاب حادثة الواحات الإرهابية، التي أسفرت عن مقتل 16 من قوات الشرطة خلال مواجهات مع الإرهابيين. ونعت محافظات مصر ضحايا الشرطة الذين طالتهم يد الغدر والخيانة، فيما شيعت محافظات جثامين الضباط والجنود إلى مثواهم الأخير في جنائز شعبية.

ISIS Attacks Al-Nusra in Syria’s Southern Idlib
The ISIS terrorist group launched a surprise offense on Monday against militants from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and Jabhat Tahrir al-Sham in Syria’s northern Hama and southern Idlib and were able to control a number of villages after infiltrating from regime-held areas.

Saudi-Russian Summit Next Thursday
The Kremlin said it hopes that the upcoming visit of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud to Moscow next week will give a new powerful impetus to the development of bilateral relations with Riyadh which is the leader of the Arab world.
“Russia is interested in maintaining a dialogue, including in the framework of the discussion of the situation in the Middle East and Syria,” the press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.
King Salman is expected to arrive in Moscow next Wednesday on an official visit to Russia.
