Biggest Repair Project Paralyzes UK’s Railway
Britain’s railway networks will witness the biggest repair project in their history, which will suspend the activity in most of the country’s train stations; only three of the 29 rail network in Britain will be functioning.
The repair workshop, which will run until January 2 in some areas, includes 260 projects in 3400 sites, according to the National Rail, reported AFP.
The repairs are expected to cost 160.4 million pounds (214 million dollars), said the association, which is responsible for overseeing passenger train operating companies.

Philippine: 5 Vietnamese Hostages Rescued
Philippine troops rescued four Vietnamese sailors kidnapped by Abu Sayyaf terrorists nine months ago and found a fifth hostage dead, an army spokeswoman said on Friday.
The sailors were found in a remote island in Tawi-tawi, more than 1,000 km south of Manila, Captain Jo-Ann Petinglay stated.
The hostages were among the 17 crew members of the bulk carrier MV Giang Hai 5, which was attacked by terrorists from the Abu Sayyaf armed group, affiliated to ISIS, of the nearby island of Jolo in February.

مقتل 7 مدنيين في انفجار سيارة ملغومة بسيناء
قال الجيش المصري مساء أمس (الاثنين)، إن 7 مدنيين قتلوا خلال تصدي دبابة لسيارة ملغومة حاولت اقتحام نقطة تفتيش عسكرية في جنوب مدينة العريش عاصمة محافظة شمال سيناء المضطربة.
