Saudi King, Crown Prince Offer Condolences over Victims of Indonesia Quake
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, sent on Monday separate cables of condolences to Indonesian President Joko Widodo over the victim’s of Sunday’s earthquake, reported the Saudi Press Agency.
King Salman and Prince Mohammed expressed their condolences on behalf of the Saudi people and government.

According to the Interior Ministry, three terrorists riding in a Hyundai Elantra vehicle opened fire at a al-Qassim prison security checkpoint.

Syria’s Assad Wants to Meet North Korea’s Kim Jong Un
Syrian regime leader Bashar Assad is planning to meet North Korea’s Kim Jong Un in Pyongyang.
“I am going to visit the DPRK and meet HE Kim Jong Un,” Assad said on May 30, North Korea’s KCNA news agency reported, using the initials of the country’s official name, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
He reportedly made the remarks as he received the credentials of North Korean Ambassador Mun Jong Nam.
Should the visit materialize, Assad would become the first head of state to meet Kim in the North Korean capital.
There was no immediate comment from Assad’s office.
