أفورقي: هناك جهات تحاول إفساد العلاقات بين إريتريا وإثيوبيا
حذر الرئيس الإريتري أسياس أفورقي من أن جهات -لم يسمها- تحاول إفساد العلاقات بين بلاده وإثيوبيا، ودعا إلى وضع حلول للتحديات الاقتصادية والأمنية التي تواجه البلدين.

Israeli Troops Raid Aqsa Mosque as Gaza Protests Continue
Israeli troops carried out on Friday a raid on the al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem, arresting a number of youths suspected of clashing with forces outside the compound.
A police spokesman said the troopers were sent into al-Aqsa, Islam’s third holiest site, after suspects who had barricaded themselves in after running confrontations in the surrounding compound, during which masked men launched firecrackers from handheld canisters.

لماذا اختار أوزيل ارتداء القميص رقم 10 في الآرسنال؟
قرر الألماني مسعود أوزيل لاعب وسط آرسنال الإنجليزي لكرة القدم تغيير رقم قميصه مع ناديه وارتداء رقم 10 في الموسم المقبل بسبب حبه لقائد فرنسا السابق زين الدين زيدان.
وعرض آرسنال على أي مشجع اشترى نسخة من قميص موسم 2018-2019 ويحمل اسم ورقم أوزيل استبدال القميص مجانا بعدما قرر اللاعب تغيير رقمه بعد رحيل زميله جاك ويلشير الذي كان يرتدي هذا الرقم الشهير.

الولايات المتحدة تدعو الهند لتقليص اعتمادها على النفط الإيراني
أبلغت نيكي هيلي السفيرة الأميركية لدى الأمم المتحدة رئيس الوزراء الهندي ناريندرا مودي، أن من المهم أن تقلص بلاده اعتمادها على النفط الإيراني.
وقالت هيلي اليوم (الأربعاء)، إن الولايات المتحدة ستعمل من أجل السماح للهند باستخدام مرفأ نفطي إيراني كممر إلى أفغانستان.

Zimbabwe President’s Rally Targeted by Bomb Attack
Several Zimbabwean officials were wounded on Saturday during a blast at a party rally by President Emmerson Mnangagwa, who described the attack as an attempt on his life.
The explosion rocked an election campaign event in Zimbabwe’s second city Bulawayo, according to witnesses, but no official toll has yet emerged.

Lebanese PM Hariri’s Movement Wins 21 Seats at Parliament
Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri announced on Monday that his Mustaqbal Movement won 21 seats at parliament in Sunday’s parliamentary elections.
He said during a press conference from Beirut that the elections grant his movement a “big bloc” in parliament.
“Through the will of the people, we were victorious on all fronts,” he declared.
“We were banking on a better result and a bigger bloc,” he added however.

ISIS Claims Drive-by Shooting that Killed 8 in Iraq
The ISIS terrorist group claimed responsibility on Wednesday for a drive-by shooting in a town north of the Iraqi capital Baghdad that left 8 people dead.
The group, which usually exaggerates the number of casualties, put the figure at 22, describing them all as members of the Tribal Mobilization Forces.
A security source had told Reuters that militants killed eight unarmed civilians in the assault in Tarmiya, 25 km (15 miles) north of Baghdad on Tuesday.
The attack saw gunmen in two speeding cars open fire on civilians in Tarmiya.
