رفضت وزارة الخارجية العراقية أمس السبت ما وصفته بالتدخل الأميركي في شؤون العراق بعد تعليقات للسفارة الأميركية تحث فيها إيران على احترام سيادة العراق والسماح بتسريح المليشيات الشيعية.

هادي يتهم إيران بدعم انفصال جنوب اليمن
اتهم الرئيس اليمني عبد ربه منصور هادي إيران بدعم أطراف جنوبية لم يسمها، إلى جانب دعمها لمليشيا الحوثي، داعيا اليمنيين إلى الصبر والتحمل لمواجهة الأزمة الاقتصادية التي تعصف بالبلاد.

Iran Considers Kurdistan Attack ‘Warning to Enemies’
Ali Shamkhani, the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, said Monday the missile attack on the Kurdistan Region was an “example” to Tehran’s response to any future threats.
Iran’s “recent missile response to destabilizing measures by a terrorist group in Iraq’s Kurdistan region was an example of Tehran’s responding to any threat,” he said.
Tasnim news agency quoted Shamkhani as saying that the era of hit and run is over in the world.

Damascus, Tehran Discuss Expanding Military Cooperation
Iranian Defense Minister Amir Hatami said on Sunday that his country was capable of helping Syria in expanding its military arsenal.
Iran “has high capabilities in the area of defense and can help Syria in expanding their military equipment,” he said, according to the ISNA news agency.

World Cup Added to Lebanon’s Security Concerns
The murder of a Lebanese supporter of the Brazilian team in the FIFA World Cup has compounded the fears of the country’s security forces that also have to contend with terrorist threats.
Mohammed Zaher was stabbed to death by a Germany fan on Wednesday in the Hayy al-Sellom neighborhood in Beirut’s southern suburbs.
The perpetrator Hussein Breitei, 17, stabbed the victim, who was celebrating Brazil’s victory against Serbia in the World Cup.
The Army Command announced on Thursday that Breitei has since been arrested.

Houthi Arrests Target General People’s Congress Leaderships in Yemen’s Hodeidah
The Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen carried out a wave of arrests against members of the General People’s Congress (GPC) in the Hodeidah province.
Sources from the party said that its members were detained on charges of collaborating with the legitimate Yemeni forces, which are supported by the Saudi-led Arab coalition, to storm Hodeidah city.
The arrests are part of a wider campaign that targets all whom the Houthis suspect of contacting the legitimate forces, Arab coalition and nephew of slain former President Ali Abdullah Saleh, Tariq Saleh.
